ABSTRACT

Introduction: The infections related to the assistance sanitary are considered to be one of the most frequent causes of morbimortalidad and increase of the demurrages and hospitable costs. Methods: A descriptive study was performed in the hospital CIMEQ , period January-December in 2012 to 2013 in all the rooms and services hospital comparing both years in relations the Infections associated with the health care. Results: the services were a General Surgery, Cardiovascular Surgery and Neurosurgery, the rooms of UCI and Marrow that constitute those of major risk, they show decrease as regards In the Cimeq one manages to maintain the valuation of 3.3 for 100 gone away ones in both years in spite of the number increases of gone away in most affected 2013, the services were a General Surgery, Cardiovascular Surgery and Neurosurgery, the rooms of UCI and Marrow that constitute those of major risk, they show decrease as regards equal period of the previous year and the room H has been supported in increase in the course of the year. Conclusions: The respiratory sepsis and surgical wounds keep on being the most frequent and there is appreciated an increase of the bacteriemias and of the locations in every patient, the deadliness maintains fall and crossed infections neither are detected there nor have happened sprouts that there demonstrates the systematical work of the prevention and control of the infections related to the health care in the institution.
