ABSTRACT

The acneiform eruption is the most frecuent cutaneous adverse effect of cetuximab. We present a patient who developed an acneiform rash secundary to this drug that spared the previously irradiated skin. As is suggesting for some authors the severity of the acneiform eruption is related to the efficacy of the treatment, but it should be taken into account if the sparing skin toxicity in the area of the tumor could be in parallel or not to the antitumor therapeutic response.
