ABSTRACT

Rowell’s syndrome is an uncommon entity characterized by the association of systemic lupus erythematosus and erythema multiforme-like lesions. The diagnostic criteria initially proposed by Rowell were gradually modified until Torchia redefined them establishing Rowell´s syndrome as an independent entity.
This is the case report of a female patient with systemic lupus erythematosus that met the new diagnostic criteria of Rowell’s syndrome.
