ABSTRACT

The care of burned patients needs rapid intervention by the Emergency Room and later form the Intensive Care Unit, national statistics is not well established, but it is know that the people most affected are the working age male patients. There are many guidelines for initial care of burned patients, in this paper a review is made and synthesized in a dignostic and therapeutic algorithm.
