ABSTRACT

Scientific research and publishing their results are two closely related activities. This concludes to publish the results as an article in a scientific journal, from which time it becomes part of scientific knowledge. This study aims to explain the need for students and professionals of medical sciences to write and publish scientific articles. The importance of this issue is that for students and professionals in medical science writing and publishing of scientific articles fostered since its initial stages stands as a powerful tool that will enable them to demonstrate competence in their work. The scientific training involves the commitment of the institution, teachers, and the active role of the student as the subject of his own training.
