Ghost cell glaucoma. A case report

ABSTRACT

Ghost cells glaucoma is a rare pathology occurring with association to an intraocular hemorrhage. In this entity, the degenerate erythrocytes (ghost cells) in the vitreous humor migrate to the anterior chamber through the disruption of the hyaloids producing a intraocular hypertension because of the obstruction in the trabecular meshwork. The next clinical case is a male attending for hypertension post-trauma responding to the surgical handling
