ABSTRACT
Revascularization therapy allows the root of necrotic teeth with incomplete root formation to continue developing. This regenerative therapy has flourished in recent years and a variety of chemical disinfection protocols have been used on the root canal system of necrotic teeth, without the use of instrumentation and using assorted intracanal medications. The purpose of this article is to review the various antimicrobial agents used in the clinical protocols described in the literature on revascularization therapy.
