ABSTRACT

Pneumology in the last century did not have the large amount of diagnostic methods as now, because most of respiratory diseases were based on fine observation and diagnosis by breath sounds method that should never be forgotten and should be perpetuated to the new generations of the specialty. From the teacher Rebora to Perez Padilla, the art of auscultation should be perpetuated by thoracic and extrathoracic signs that can be related to any respiratory disease.
