Strategy to implement the didactic conception of the process of English language training of medical students

ABSTRACT

Introduction: The strategy to implement the educational concept of the training process in English in medical students is focused on the integration of communication skills of English and professional skills of the physician is the practical contribution of the research on this process at the University Medical Sciences of Pinar del Río.
Objective: To assess the feasibility of the strategy for the training process in English in medical students.
Material and methods: A study based on the dialectical materialist method was developed. Historical and logical and systemic-structural: a system of theoretical methods used. Empirical level: surveys, interviews and statistical consulting experts through the Delphi method to validate its feasibility.
Results: definitions of the concept are discussed strategy defined strategy to implement the didactic conception of the process of English language training in medical students; the strengths and weaknesses of the process are determined; four specific strategic actions are declared, objectives and criteria are established experts on the proposal are set.
Conclusions: the importance of improving the process of English language training in medical students revealed; consistency between the assumed theoretical foundations and the proposed strategy and the feasibility of its implementation in the context of the career of Medicine at Medical University of Pinar del Rio was evident
