ABSTRACT

This paper selects a Business Rules Management System and integrates it to the workflow for "controlling medical records of kidney's transplant". OpenRules, OpenL Tablets and Drools programs are evaluated and Drools is selected as the best tool. The automated workflow is presented, also the tools used and the components of the proposed architecture. It will serve as a guide to developers of computer systems that automate medical processes with business rules.
