ABSTRACT

Raquimedular injury is the injury mixed of the bond constituent in the vertebral column and the neurologic content that includes the spinal cord and his envelopes, causes change in the movement’s functions, sentient and autonomy. The optimum handling of this problem necessitates a multidisciplinary equipment of attention at the patient. 49 years patient that suffered accident by descend 3 m with fracture from corps vertebral L 1 from October 5, 2013. Surgery with internal inmovilization (vices titanium instrumentality transpediculares and perches) on October 11 and until then uses a corset. Then of the surgical intervention from the column hi haven´t control of urinary or rectal sphincter muscle. Not neurologic damage in inferior’s members developing normal motion though paresthesy and pain in perineal region and less members. Multidisciplinary evaluation was done, with specialists of urology, gastroenterology, neurophisiology, physic medicin and rehabilitation. Rehabilitation treatment included: magnetotherapy, electric stimulated in the perineal area with superficial and intracavity electrod, pelvic floor exercises. In addition cycles of ozonoterapy and hiperbaric camera. Urinary and fecal continence was got diminishing parenthesis and pain on inferior’s members he doen´t use specific medicine in these moments, a laboral reincorporation.
