ABSTRACT

The present reflection assay is aimed at reconstructing and analyzing the current status of scientific research in the Venezuelan educational context. A critical view is presented of the process of knowledge acquisition and understanding in the framework of research, the various factors influencing its orientation, and the problems affecting its development, based on document analysis of Venezuelan scientific studies and books on the subject, ranging from science in general to research conducted in the country. It is concluded that sensitization actions should be performed aimed to raise awareness of the importance of encouraging the training of researchers committed to society as part of secondary and university education.
