ABSTRACT
The school as an institution faces the challenge of the formation of skilful men in the handling of science, therefore, it is necessary the creation of means of teaching in all the branches of knowledge, so that the performance of these students responds to the dynamic and socio-economic demands of the Cuban society. In this work a glossary is designed which constitutes a means of teaching for the students who are studying the specialty of Nutrition and Dietary in the School of Health Technology. It presents a vocabulary of 101 words in English which are the most frequently used in this speciality. This glossary integrates the vocabulary of English for specific purposes that it is taught in this major. The objective of this glossary is to ease a supporting material in order to improve the teaching learning process of English in this school. It will enable the search of information and help the students understand the content. The theoretical methods used were: the historical-logical and analysis synthesis, and among the empirical ones: surveys, interviews and the revision of documents.REFERENCES
