ABSTRACT

Castleman’s disease is a rare condition characterized by benign proliferation of lymphoid tissues. Most cases occur as mediastinal masses, although extrathoracic involvement, nodal an extranodal locations, have been reported. Peripancreatic location may be mistaken as a pancreatic tumor. We report the case of an 11 year-old girl with a peripancreatic Castleman’s tumor, which presented as an epigastric mass, mimicking a pancreatic tumor.
