ABSTRACT
Pulmonary sequestration is a rare congenital
anomaly in which nonfunctioning lung tissue
gets its blood supply from the systemic circulation;
usually from the aorta or its branches. We
report a case of an intra lobar pulmonary sequestration,
in which arterial blood supply
comes from the thyrocervical trunk (branch of
the sub-clavian artery), the left internal mammary
artery and left anterior intercostal arteries.
The patient was successfully treated with surgical
resection.
