ABSTRACT

After we had lived a sanitary contingency in Mexico City by the presence of an epidemics that turn into a pandemic due to a new virus, known as the A (H1N1) Flu.
In which way this event has affected the mental health of the population? This article describes the mental disorders that appear due to a bad answer to the psychological impact for this event: the acute stress disorder and the posttraumatic stress disorder.
In order to know more about the harmful psychological impact, after this new suffering, this work deepen inside these sufferings.
