ABSTRACT

The number of patients with Cancer-related fatigue has increased in the last decade due to an increased survival in oncology patients. Fatigue is a serious symptom for patients with cancer and profoundly deteriorates their daily quality of life. As numerous factors have been implicated, its management is a challenge that requires an integral and prioritized assessment. The syndrome has been under-diagnosed and undertreated due to important barriers both by patients and physicians alike. Management of Cancer-related fatigue includes non-pharmacologic and pharmacologic treatment.
