ABSTRACT

The Facultad de Estudios Superiores Zaragoza (FES Zaragoza), since January 1976, at that moment Escuela Nacional de Estudios Superiores Zaragoza (ENEP Zaragoza), has offered psychotherapeutic and psychiatric attention to the students of this educational institution.
In 1983, the Mental Health and Psychotherapy Service started to offer the services mentioned above, to help the students properly.
Among the incidence of the psychopathologies found in these students, the more frequent disorders were: the obsessivecompulsive disorder, anxiety disorders and the disthimic disorders, with the latent shadow every time more often, of its complication: the suicide.
This work develops the theoretical-clinical basis for the high risk suicidal management in college students, and display important measures for its prevention, and with this a better strengthen to avoid scholar desertion.
