ABSTRACT

At the moment, the buccal cancer constitutes one of the biggest problems that the humanity faces, not only in the environment of the public health but also for the sciences in general. Some types of cancers are considered prevent illnesses by virtue of that many of the factors related with the lifestyle of people have associated to their incidence. Dentistry plays a fundamental part in the opportune diagnosis and the prevention of this since affection its task it is to detect any lesion in incipient state and this way to simplify the treatment and to improve the quality of the patient's life; but much more important that to detect the lesion is to foresee its development guiding the population and eliminating the factors of risk. In this sense, it is necessary to endow the dentistry student of a methodology that allows him to diagnose this illness precociously with a view to diminishing their noxious effects for the health.
