ABSTRACT

Introduction: preoperative evaluation of surgical patients is a fundamental link in the clinical trial.
Methods: forecasts validate multidimensional models of surgical mortality in noncardiac elective procedures.
Results: the three models were applied in "Manuel Ascunce Domenech" University Hospital in Camagüey and the "Arnaldo Milian Castro" University Hospital in Villa Clara and showed that the models acted as an alarm forecast perioperative mortality from the preoperative evaluation of patients proposed for elective surgery not heart.
Conclusión: most patients proposed noncardiac elective surgeries where applied preoperatively multidimensional models forecasts graduated in living condition. No best model results are shown relative to each other and hence in medical practice by the alarm positivity is seen with any of the three models.
