Educational intervention on biosafety at the Dairy Products Company of Holguín

ABSTRACT

The present paper consists on the implementation of an educational intervention strategy on biosafety to the workers of the Dairy Products Company of Holguin , Cuba . To obtain the characterization of the target group, the specialist in the training activity of Human Resources Department was interviewed and a program of educational intervention was created and taught to 27 workers of the entity. Also, a list of topics was made to be tested before and after the intervention to measure the level of knowledge reached by the workers and to evaluate the intervention program by comparing the results of the exam before and after the intervention. The promotion percent before the intervention was 18,5 % and the passing ones qualified the fairly good category. After the intervention promotion increased 100 % where an 81,5 % fell into the excellent category, 11,1 % the very good category and the 7,4 % the good category, confirming that the intervention was effective.
