ABSTRACT

The most significant aspects in the personal and professional life of Dr. Ángel Abelardo Arias Lorente are described in this work, where the medical vocation and devotion to his profession are highlighted, through his active work within the environment of the care to patients. His unquestionable dedication to the educational work and his outstanding contributions to the Cuban medicine in general and to Santiago urology in particular, made him deserve numerous recognitions and metals.
