ABSTRACT

The incidence of tuberculous otomastoiditis in Mexico is 0.04 to 0.9%. The diagnosis is often difficult and is related to delayed treatment and possible severe complications. We present the case of a 2 year old female with incomplete vaccination schedule, coalescent mastoiditis, left facial palsy, pulmonary rales and meningeal signs, diagnosed with tuberculous otomastoiditis.
