ABSTRACT

Arrives at the optometry laboratory a 45 years old patient worry by head ache, double sight, right eye pain before visual stress and uncomfortable at reading. She works as university professor. Also she says that since child she has strabismus and she never makes the treatment correctly. At the ophthalmologic inspection does not appear an alteration. All optometry tests are realized, motors and sensorial test, including visual acuteness test, master eye test, cover test, White method test, convergence exploring and a dynamic refraction. The result reveals a divergent strabismus and the impossibility to the convergence in the right eye. The insufficient of convergence associated to strabismus not corrected in childhood, are frequently problems in adult ages and justify the presence of asthenopics symptoms.
