Consequences of a Murderer (NK).

The NK cells are part of the innate immune system. Morphologically they are big lymphocytes and have many intracytoplasmic granules.
When they are activated they become cells of short period of life whose function is to identify and trap any cells showing molecular patrons that imply risk either by stress, by malign transformation or by viral infection and other intracellular pathogen agents. They also control the hematopoietic cells growth producing a great variety of cytokines and chemokines.
Recent investigations allow us to suggest the study of NK cells in their roll of bioenergetic model for a cellular differentiation study.
