Publication in biomedical research is essential for dissemination of relevant information and advances in science and medicine. The main currency for biomedical publications is the manuscript, which can be of various types, including but not limited to original studies, reviews, and case series. Biomedical writing for purposes of a manuscript is an art which builds on early linguistic and scholastic experiences and is honed throughout one’s education, professional exposure, and training.
