ABSTRACT

The most outstanding aspects in the social life and the professional trajectory of an example within the Cuban medicine are pointed out, and especially within the Medical University in Santiago de Cuba, Dr. Armando Valdés Valdés who has achieved, from his humility and altruism, to highlight the disciplines of Embryology, Pathology and Histology, with total consecration to the educational development of the new generations and with important contributions which have made possible the advance of these biomedical sciences at national level.
