ABSTRACT
Introduction: Sinus of Valsalva aneurysm (SVA) is an uncommon pathology that may be either acquired or congenital, whose main complication is rupture, that leads to acute congestive heart failure. Case report: We present the case of a 28-year-old man with Valsalva sinus rupture into the right cavities and severe heart failure with successful surgical correction. Conclusions: Surgical repair is the treatment of choice for SVA, with low operative risk and good long-term outcome.REFERENCES
