ABSTRACT

Sinonasal malignancies, originated in the ethmoidal and maxillary sinuses usually invade the orbit. Orbital invasion is considered a prognostic factor of recurrence and survival. We present a case report of an esthesioneuroblastoma with orbital invasion, which was treated with surgical resection with orbital preservation. It must always be done the maximal effort to preserve the orbital contents, taken into account not affecting prognostic factors. A multidisciplinary approach is required to achieve orbital preservation in patients with sinonasal malignancies invading the orbit.
