ABSTRACT

It has been fifteen years since endoscopic surgery appeared in the world of general for the surgery patient and surgeon benefit, and for that revision it would be profitable to review it’s actual status, its moment of being, its repercussion on generations previous to the era of minimum invasive surgery and to other generations. This review, allows us to show how new technologies and procedures have been created even when a ten years age, we couldn’t even think about them. Starting with laparoscopic, cholecystectomy. The revision includes advances leading to a robotic surgery of the gadble on, named the Limberg project, going through all the common issues, like gastroesophageal reflux, inguinal hernia, assisted video surgery for the thyroid gland and the harvest of live donor kidney for related renal transplantation.
