ABSTRACT

Essential aspects of Dr. Lidia Carcassés Puente´s life are honored. She is an outstanding university professor, dentist and stronghold of stomatology in Santiago de Cuba who was also Medical Sciences Doctor, Associate Professor in the Stomatology Faculty and in the Medical Sciences University from Santiago de Cuba. She stands out for her patriotic, solidary, unselfish sense, of love for work, science and investigation, her teaching mastery, as well as her contribution to several generations of stomatology professionals' training.
