ABSTRACT

Hypertension is among most common medical disorder in pregnancy, and is reported to complicate 5-10% of pregnancies. These disorders are a major cause of maternal and perinatal mortality and morbidity worldwide. Because of the increasing incidence of hypertension and obesity, the latest pharmacological use and management must be of knowledge, because of the several adverse effects in the pregnancy and perinatal outcomes.
