ABSTRACT

The performance protocol in the rehabilitative handling of thepatients with rheumatic illnesses, with recommendations of applicabletherapeutic procedures in secondary attention, was built based in specializedliterature regarding the topic, and the consent among the specialists intraditional and natural medicine and in physical medicine and rehabilitation ofthe Specialized Ambulatory Center at the Hospital "Dr. Gustavo Aldereguía Lima" in Cienfuegos;emphasis is made in the individualized handling of these patients with previousdiagnosis of rheumatic illness and the phase in that are consulted, theconsequent evaluation of the same one, the evolution and the opportunehandling. It is approached the pharmacological treatment, the acupuncture andtheir techniques, ozonotherapy, homeopathy as well asthe artificial physical agents, the measures of prevention and the therapeuticexercises.
