ABSTRACT

The Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome is a congenital disease associated with paroxistic supraventricular tachycardia and sudden death. The treatment for the disease has evolutionated since the radiofrequency ablation treatment began in the nineties. Currently, the radiofrequency ablation is the treatment of choice. This procedure is effective and safe. We present a pediatric patient to whom we practice a successful eletrophysiologic study and endocardic ablation, in Medica Sur Hospital.
