ABSTRACT

There have been great advancements in laparoscopic surgery, everyday more routine and advanced procedures are performed with newer and sophisticated instruments. We designed a new instrument, which facilitates mini-laparoscopic procedures. This instrument is 20 cm long and has a 3 mm outer diameter and a 2 mm inner diameter where a “UDIQ multipurpose tread” goes. This instrument works as a mobilizer, retractor, aspirator and as a port for 2 mm instruments. It can also be used to puncture and drain different structures and as an additional port with all its different functions.
