ABSTRACT

The imaging studies give a diagnostic orientation in malignant bone tumors. The magnetic resonance imaging is of great utility value for the detection, diagnostic and staging of malignant neoplasias. The radiologist have an important role to provide a main diagnosis and to provide differential diagnoses using the behavior and characterization of the tumors in Magnetic Resonance imaging, which is of great help to the oncologist, so that they can give a correct and give treatment of the primary or metastatic bone tumors and also allow us to make a follow up and to detect in good timing tumor recurrence.
