ABSTRACT

We report the clinical case of a 80 years old woman who complains of painful vesicular lesions in the right six days duration hemifacial region. The patient was eventually diagnosed with herpes zoster bleeding. This clinical manifestation must be regarded as an unusual presentation of varicella zoster virus.
