ABSTRACT

A ganglion cyst is a pseudotumor seen frequently in the hands, with predominance in women between the 40 and 50 years. The incidence is low in children and it is even lower when the ganglions are considered giant (over 25 mm). There are several options for treatment, but the most effective treatment to avoid the recurrence is the surgery resection of the ganglion. Two cases in children are presented along with a literature review.
