ABSTRACT

Dermatophytosis are a group of superficial mycosis that can affect skin surface; they can be acquired by direct and stretch contact among persons, with animals or the ground, and they can affect any part of the corporal surface. It is one of the ten most frequent dermatosis in Mexico. We communicate a 10 years old female with a one year evolution facial tinea, acquired by an unusual mechanism of transmission, because she made pedicure to her father with onichomycosis.
