Preventive action to avoid breast cancer in the Center of Immunology and Byproducts of Holguin, Cuba

ABSTRACT

Introduction: Occupational Safety and Health has as a main activity the prevention and with special management to the women. In the other hand, the incidence and mortality the breast cancer in women in Cuba is high and the importance having the prevention in this illness. Objective: To realize a whole search among women of the Center of Immunology and Byproducts of Holguin working daily in this institution. Material and method: The sample was composed by 19 women having the inclusion requirements by the authors. The test described in this document was applied with them. Results: Only four women presented benign pathology with the treatment established in breast cancer's algorithm. Conclusions: This research revealed the weakness in the applying of breast cancer and emphasized the role having all managers in occupational safety and health in the interjectors fight against breast cancer.
