ABSTRACT

Is presented a brief communication on the revision of the classification for surgical complications Claiven and Dindo, performed since its publication in 2004, until today. Recent papers from European and American authors, where it's a fact the application and dissemination, was obtained. The classification is translated to Spanish language and examples of overall complications on urologic surgery, specifying that each method of open surgery, laparoscopic surgery or external genitalia, have their own specific complications that each author shall expose in their investigations.
