ABSTRACT
The interest of this work was center to know how is the
perception of the body image of the students from school of
psychology in UAEM Toluca City; Estado de México,
measure it with the Test de Siluetas para Adolescentes
(TSA) by Maganto y M. S. Cruz. This Test was applied to 61
woman students to the Second semester by degree in
psychology, all of them have was 18 years old at the
moment of the test apply. It was made an special emphasis
in the stage of the adolescence like a determinant moment
to the formation of the personality and the individual identity,
so that is consider a vulnerable moment to the appearance
of the some disordered eating behavior, just like an alternate
data. This study is exploratory and it was use the descriptive
statistic to the results management, these concluded the
prevalence of the aesthetic mode thin body in the students
evaluation, as well as an index of distortion and
dissatisfaction, within expected and an absence of eating
disorders.
