ABSTRACT

The first Territorial workshop of Interdisciplinary Orthodontics was carried out in Santiago de Cuba from September 29th to November 3rd, 2016, promoted by the Provincial Chapter of Orthodontics Studies and with the main objective of updating on the interdisciplinarity in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with occlusion problems. It had the participation of 75 delegates, among them comprehensive integral dentists, orthodontists, prosthesists, periodontologists, psychologists and allergists -- among other similar medical and stomatological specialties --, coming from 5 eastern provincies: Santiago de Cuba, Granma, Las Tunas, Guantánamo and Holguín who exchanged ideas and experiences on such an important topic.
