ABSTRACT

The persons with a limit or borderline personality are characterized by having a complicated diagnosis and treatment ¿is he (she) a neurotic patient?, ¿is he (she) a psicotic patient?
These patients are not stable in their behavior and interpersonal relationships.
Frecuently, they didn't have enough care in their childhood, so they feel themselves empty, angry and with a big necessity of attention.
The impulsiveness is something constant so promiscuity and the toxic substances abuse can be present.
This work analyze which are the main criteria for the diagnosis, and the most convenient psicotherapeutic management for this kind of patients.
A clinic case and its psicotherapeutic management is shown as an example.
