ABSTRACT

The problems of all models of the story began when an insufficient historiography (description of the facts), what they needed for their solution in other disciplines, in order to have a stronger conceptual body. An example of these concepts and models was taken colonialism as a natural phenomenon, without being aware of the implications derived from it and the problems that still survive in our time.
It is through the study of how the different fashions that are now accepted in anthropological research have come to develop and be rooted in the intellectual habits, thus learn to appreciate what in anthropological theory has been achieved and what has not been achieved, the case of ethnopsychiatry, which attempts to present an interdisciplinary overview involving history, philosophy, anthropology and medicine.
