ABSTRACT

The history of the foundation of the American British Hospital started with American Hospital that was created by a society of charity on 1886. And a small Clinic created on 1991 called Cowdray Sanatory, where a general surgeon Dr Sidney Ulfelder treated the muscoluesqueletical lessions. The ABC Hospital was founded as new medical institution on February 27, 1941 with the joining of both clinics the American Hospital and the Cowdray Sanatory. The ABC Medical Center has been the home of several physicians dedicated to the Orthopedics and trauma diseases, as well as for physical therapy experts. During this years the formation of physicians has been constant, based on academic development and with an international and national acknowledgment.
