ABSTRACT

The discovery of leptin (Greek: Leptos, meaning thin), fifty years ago, at this hormone is considerate that modify the obesity, however is implicate in different functions that affect the reproduction in mammals, like the beginning the puberty, specifics actions over the nervous tissue that produce the Gonadotropin Releasing Hormone (GnRH), testis and ovary, however this functions in the body still in investigation not only like ant obesity hormone but one hormone essential the species continuity.
