ABSTRACT

Retrospective study to show the results of surgical and conservative treatment en femur fractures: study done from February 1994 to February 2001 at Shriners Hospital, Mexico Unit, making an universe of 50 patients with an average age of 6.8 years old. The evaluation for implementing the treatment is based on the injury mechanism, fracture zone, and the trace to avoid differences in the lower extremities and angular deformity.
