ABSTRACT

We obtained antibodies against transforming growth factor-beta type (TGF-β) with the method described in a previous publication. In two homogeneous groups of diabetes mellitus type II (previously of diabetic nephropathy) we use this antibodies in one group and compared in the other group the results in six months of clinical and laboratorial follow-up using renal profiles with an statistical results of 0.01 for the use of antibodies against TGF that protect the patients from diabetic nephropathy in an harmless form.
