ABSTRACT
The ameloblastoma is a benign odontogenic lesion; in most cases the treatment is conservative. We present a 29 years old patient with a increase volume of five years evolution of 8 x 5 cm in left mandibular region, without presence of trismus. On computed tomography showed an expansive cortical tumor, that involves body, ramus and condyle without rupture of the cortical bone. A segmentary mandibulectomy and a reconstruction with fibula free flap in double bar was performed. The patient properly evolves with a good aesthetic and functional outcome at three years of treatment. The histopathological report was plexiform ameloblastoma.
